Fast-forward to about 3:55 in.

Snippet:

Stewart: "Have we thought of just doing this--and again, I'm not an economist--can we just print money?"
Pelosi: "Oh, they do."
"But I mean literally, just--just--"
"No, the Fed does."
"They just keep printing it."

I was watching. I literally got light-headed listening to Queen Nancy.

Stewart said, "Are we just printing money?"

And Pelosi said, "The Fed. That's what they do."

That's not the exact wording, but they did talk about it. :)

The clip should be up on the Daily Show (http://www.thedailyshow.com/) website soon.

I heard it too. I wish Jon had emphasized how inflated our money is going to get.

I like how she laughed.

Laughed.

Counterfeiting is a fucking joke to her.

What if I printed up a million you dimwit congresswoman? How fucking funny would it be then?

And she totally dodged the question of whether or not we are broke right now. She said we used to be, but the messiah is investing (my stolen cash) so it will be OK. The answer is YES goddamn it.

Didn't see the show, but based upon what I'm reading, and his recent lambasting of CNBC, it would seem that Jon Stewart's show is more relevant to what's happening in this country than the MSM (ie. news).

John Stewart is an entertainer and he says things for ratings. The fact that he brought up an issue that is in the realm of what we talk about does not mean he is on a crusade.

I think Jon Stewart is well-intentioned. He has mentioned that we do not live in a free-market (even got Greenspan to admit this), and he would therefore prefer that when the "strings are pulled," they are done so in a way that benefits the lower classes as opposed to the rich and politically well-connected. He has also pointed out the politicians' and media's utter inability to say anything bad about Israel. He has been critical of Obama lately, too.

The Pelosi interview is up, by the way.

I agree. He doesn't blindly just do everything and follow anything the Democrats say and do. At heart, I believe that he believes in things like liberty and not just blindly wasting money, though he's just misguided.

I like Colbert's mannerisms, like tapping his pen on his desk.

Let's be honest though, people like Hannity or Coulter are simply doing it being because Obama won. As I've said before, if McCain was elected and doing the same thing, they'd be sucking his nuts and calling those who disagree anti Americans. This is why I hate seeing people here embracing Fox News. The only thing I'd watch is the Judge, and he's not even on the actual channel.
