In an earlier post I pointed out that the signs and banners ARE WORKING. More than any other factor, the signs and banners are getting the word out; putting Ron's name forward; catching peoples' attention; bringing newbies to the movement. Several commenters to my post pointed to bumper stickers, Ron Paul shirts, pins etc. as additional factors. True enough-- BUT NOT NEARLY GOOD ENOUGH. Bumper stickers, shirts and pins are PASSIVE. These tools are far less effective than ACTIVE PARTICIPATION. Carrying a Ron Paul sign to the streets is something we can all do. This is our most powerful way to speak. Walikng a busy street with a Ron Paul sign and a bag of slimjims is ACTION. And ACTION is what is needed if we are going to tell MILLIONS of people about Ron Paul. Go to the streets, Ron Paul supporters. Do it now. Do it alone, or in groups-- it doesn't matter which. The MSM will ignore bumper stickers and shirts-- but they cannot ignore thousands of us in the streets-- visible, active, enthusiastic. DO YOU WANT TO WIN? The streets are where we need to be. Carrying signs. Polite; smiling; non-threatening. But there.
