Since the networks have shut down, the students are coordinating using Twitter.

I especially like their signage, such a breath of fresh air from the G20 protesting commies:

Holy CRAP.

I'm betting there's nothing on any mainstream media channels.

Here's a bit more info:

Young Moldovan anti-Communists storm parliament (http://www.google.com/hostednews/afp/article/ALeqM5jNPXJdYHJW5AOYIp_fTOrdM6BArA)

Moldova opposition protesters demand fresh elections (http://www.reuters.com/article/newsMaps/idUSTRE5362Q620090407)

Moldova students raid parliament (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/7987608.stm)

And here's some more info on the Republic of Moldova (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Republic_of_Moldova).

And something I noticed from the AFP report...warning, buzzkill ahead. :(

Police used water cannon and tear gas but the protestors still managed to enter the presidency and hoisted a European Union flag, an AFP correspondent reported.

The protestors burned Communist Party flags and the flag of the Soviet Union. They also shouted "We want to join Europe!" and "We are Romanians!"

EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana said he was "very concerned" about the unrest.

"Violence against government buildings is unacceptable. Equally important is the respect for the inalienable right of assembly of peaceful demonstrators," he said.

So this is a revolution against the Communists in order for Moldova to join the European Union.

Note the EU flag:

They're crying "Freedom" at the same time as "We want to join Europe!"...casting out one totalitarian regime in order to join another.

"There is one thing in common with all revolutions (in fact, they are pretty much like wars in that respect), nobody ever knows what they are fighting about."--Will Rogers

That said, there are three things to consider in that decision:

1. The Republic of Texas joined the U.S. because its fledgling little economy couldn't compete on its own and their trade defecit was staggering.

2. The EU was formed because the nations of Europe couldn't compete with us individually.

3. There's really no other game in their neck of the woods but Russia, and that sure makes the EU look like the lesser of evils...

They are willing to trade Communism for Socialism...I guess it's a start.

But they're giving up their sovereignty in the process.

They should have just sent bags of tea to their government oppressors, it would have been more effective.

Too bad they want to trade one bad situation for another. Someone should send them a copy of Rothbard`s For A New Liberty. They have the soul but not the knowledge, we have the knowledge but not the soul....sad indeed.

Ehhh Emmm ... I know.
But the Pussyness will soon disappear when hell breaks loose here and make men out of most of these cowardly little boys in this country that exists today.

Either that, or they and anyone following them, will die.
