Is all this unconstitutional bullshit, and the 2nd Great Depression they're creating designed to make us lose it?

Because I, for one, have HAD IT with these Fascist pr!cks.

S773 (http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=s111-773) & S778 (http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=s111-778)

Probably. The archists seem to enjoy the system, and they outnumber you and I by a SIGNIFICANT margin. :(

Cant really say much, since the actual text of the bills are not known. Its also still in committee.

If you thought the Patriot Act was great, then you're gonna love this.

I read Market Ticker Forums religiously, I was reading that as you posted this.

Yeah this is troubling. Im afraid it has little to do with Obama though, I mean look who the main sponsor is.

to have the plug pulled. Remember, we are all potential domestic terrorists? Becoming more like 1984 every day. Obviously, they are furiously planning for a major depression the likes of which we have never seen.

Like HR 875 and HR 759, this is one issue where left (http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2009/04/should-obama-control-internet) and right (http://www.worldnetdaily.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=93966) will come together. Yes more unconstitutional legislation that must be killed in the cradle.

Wadesc, I'm not sure what you mean by "Im afraid it has little to do with Obama though..." considering:

First, the White House, through the national cybersecurity advisor, shall have the authority to disconnect "critical infrastructure" networks from the Internet – including private citizens' banks and health records, if Rockefeller's examples are accurate – if they are found to be at risk of cyber attack. The working copy of the bill, however, does not define what constitutes a cybersecurity emergency, and apparently leaves the question to the discretion of the president.

Point taken.

Rockefeller has spoken out against the internet quite a bit lately. Whether this is an intentional power grab by Obama, is what I doubt.

I think theres too much focus these days on the prez, when its congress that we should really be worried about. I dont mean this forum in particular, but the American people in general.

These issues could easily be defeated with a few youtube videos.

YES!

This is psychological warfare against the American people.

You have to stay sane... that is key.

I also posted today a thread (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=187410) about the Most Important TV Show ever produced, a late 1960's series called The Prisoner. If you watch the series, which is now available online, you will see that the recurring theme is the struggle of the individual against the collectivist pressures of society and the elite, who perpetrate these controls toward homogenization of the public. The main character in the series, Patrick McGoohan, constantly fights this battle to retain his sanity and his individuality. It's fascinating to watch.

In any event, it is this same battle that we must each fight as well. We must not loose our mental clarity and we must never ever loose our individuality and our resistance to these one-world forces.
