The top ten are going on a T-shirt. The front of the T-shirt will have this picture with a bubble that reads: "I pledge NO allegiance...."

Not sure of the exact wording, but...

"All Bills will be available on the internet for (seven? five?) days before passing so Americans will have a chance to read them"

"No lobbyists in my administration"

"I'll go through each budget item linie by line and remove all earmarks"

Well we can hope that he breaks SOME of his promises (socialist ones).

We can pretty much expect those promises to be fullfilled.

Yes, but we can always hope for a change in his policy, if you know what I mean.

"I'll go through each budget item linie by line and remove all earmarks"

If you're aware of the actual definition of "earmark" as opposed to "pork spending", that 'promise' takes on a whole new meaning.

"I'll go through each budget item linie by line and remove all earmarks"

I'm glad he's broken that promise. By "remove all earmarks", he didn't mean cut out the spending, he meant spend the money himself as he sees fit, instead of as Congress specified.

I don't think I saw "No more signing statements" on your list.

Not far enough, apparently. Thanks.

"We will kill bin Laden. We will crush al-Qaeda. That has to be our biggest national security priority."

"I won't take away your guns,"

There are lots of things you could criticize Obama for.

That pledge picture you posted is NOT one of them.

Let's figure out if this is true. Is it the anthem, or the pledge?

Does it matter? Posting that picture is giving our forum a bad name. We look like a group of heavily nationalistic fools.

Only to an anarchist! Pledging allegiance is patriotic NOT nationalistic.

Considering that the linked video shows a parade of politicians not putting their hands over their heart during the pledge, and every single one is a GLOBALIST, it sort of proves the opposing point.

No, we shouldn't judge our politicians by image, or even fancy speeches - we should judge them by actions, policies and past voting records, then vote according to our heart and our conscience.

Agreed. There is a HUGE difference between patriotism and nationalism.

I've noticed that globalists love to equate the two, to demonise patriotism and patriots, while at the same time, dropping the evils of nationalism off the radar.

Case in point:

‘Don’t teach children patriotism’ (http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/life_and_style/education/article3285615.ece)

Schools told to dump Churchill and Hitler from history lessons (http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/news/article-23404098-details/Schools%20told%20to%20dump%20Churchill%20and%20Hit ler%20from%20history%20lessons/article.do?expand=true)

UK Students to study Twitter over Churchill (http://www.dvorak.org/blog/2009/03/25/uk-students-to-study-twitter-over-churchill/)

I don't think we do so please speak for yourself! She has a valid point and i know he has flip flopped on this picture, this was the pledge and not the anthem. So why give him a free ride?

I'd like to see yours. I've never done this before, and since the "no pledge picture" is misleading, I don't intend to do this with that picture. I'm glad Civil Radiant brought this to my attention before I did this. It pisses me off when people mislead others like the jerk who spread this picture around under false pretenses.

You have seen them, HERE (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=181674&highlight=shirts) :)

I finally looked at the video also, but to me it looks like a double standard! The video is very pro Obama brainwashing koolaid and taken out of context.

It would be fair to say that it leaves us with a question mark after the GD America fiasco among other things about his patriotic respect for America, The Constitution, Liberty and Justice for all...

Snopes leans left, and this provides a prime example of it.

As we noted earlier, although the U.S. Flag Code still specifies that those present should stand "with the right hand over the heart" during the playing of the U.S. national anthem, that particular form is one that has generally come to be observed less and less consistently among the general public over the decades:

Proper etiquette is that one stands facing the flag with their hands over their heart. The rest of it is simply making an excuse for his behavior.

Inherited a 1.3 trillion deficit 0:05

That's why today I'm pledging to cut the deficit we inherited by half
by the end of my first term in office 1:30

TBD in 2013. So you cut a deficit in half by inflating it more than half in less than your first 100 days in office? Can anyone see why Obama's adherence to Keynesian economics is a big fraud?
