I went to their speaking event on Wednesday and it was really good. Bob Schulz and his organization made a great impression on me - he is very intelligent, an excellent speaker, and has outstanding knowledge of both the US Constitution and American law. He is currently on a speaking tour throughout the US. In short, the We the People Foundation has been using the 'petition for redress of grievances' clause of the Constitution for over a decade to fight the income tax, Fed, and other unconstitutional actions such as going to war w/o a declaration by Congress. His cases have reached the Supreme Court. His work has led a decade's worth of actual records indicating that the federal government has no intention of upholding the Constitution, and that it's finally time we the people take our country back, which is why he is organizing a Continental Congress tentatively scheduled around November of this year. In fact, in May he will be holding an event at Jekyll Island and top liberty minded individuals like G. Edward Griffin, John McManus (John Birch Society president), and Dr. Edwin Vieira and others will be attending for the purposes of planning for this Continental Congress. I highly recommend you attend one of his speeches - I copied the schedule for the next 2 weeks from their website:

I went to a meeting and was equally impressed. What he is doing seems methodical and worthy.

ISTM, his approach boils down to is the last ten words of the 1st amendment, "...and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." He is building a public record; while escalating the forms of petition...

GO BOB!!!
