And yet another shooting. This one over in NY at an immigration office.

Kidnappings and shootings are going to create yet another fervor to pass legislation that will hand over more American freedoms.

Don't look now............another one..........this time at a Korean center in California! Surely this is all just coincidence. Three media breaking shootings in just about a week. No agenda behind this whatsoever!

He must have found out his wife was North Korean. Unfortunately people dying due to being shot is definitely a weekly occurrence in Southern California.

Ok

What is congress up to?
What is the President up to?
What is the Federal Reserve up to?

Something in the News is Being IGNORED.
What else is going on.
Either it's a distraction Technique
OR they are after something.

Or its both.

They are obviously after universal disarmament, leaving the weapons in the hands of the state police and military - eventually global police and global military.

And the other thing that is going on that I am seeing VERY little on is Obama negotiating away America's sovereignty.

Anyone else?

Next thing you know, they'll be combating conservative websites by cutting the hands off of all males in the country--because some guy choked his wife.

1) There are more anxiety raising stimuli (So that's what they meant by a 'stimulus plan'!), leading more 'on the edge' people to cross that line.

2) There is an incentive to report on these stories immediately and heavily because fear sells, and there are people that want to use this bad news to advance their own agenda

3) There is always something more important that gets ignored by the news media because they don't want to tarnish a subject and they can allot their time/space to stories that advance their agenda (see (2)).

4) As is usually the case - there is no reason to make this into any broad conspiracy when the facts as presented are horrible enough and serve to show that the inciting impetus to these crimes was not any irrational fear of government or pure craziness, but instead are 'rational' (not sane, per se, but 'explainable') responses to the environment that the shooters found themselves in by means beyond their control.

Yes the government is working toward removing what they see as 'problem firearms' from the citizenry, but few of them realize the actual repercussions.

Yes the government wants to control money to make bankers happy, but few people see this as anything but 'saving the system.'

Yes the news media is a bought industry and will usually defer to power, but few program directors understand that they are painting themselves into a statist corner, rather they most likely think that they are keeping sources happy and doing a great service by spreading the government's message.

Here's an interesting statistical study to perform:
How many news articles present some response to these shootings, either as an editorial comment from the author or from interviewing activists or politicos?
Of those: How many claim the only solution is gun control?
How many claim that if only the general population were expected to carry weapons with any frequency, the decision to go on a rampage wouldn't be made because there is the immediate risk of being shot back?
How many articles actually propose that there are conflicting ideas about how to respond, and how many present their one solution as 'the only option'?
