Hey guys Im looking at the counter for the week on RP2008

and theyre going for 1,787 donations for Constitution week by Friday.

In one day theyve got 430.

So lets think about this.

round down to 400 donations to make it simple. If they are $25 a piece that means they have raised $100,000 in one day. I think thats mighty conservative.

I see it happening.. $100k a day is $3 Million a month from free online donations.. not too shabby.. weve got to keep it up.

any thoughts from anyone??

Just a question.

Does anyone know whether it is cheaper for the campaign to accept donations online via paypal or major credit card?

It is much cheaper for Ron Paul to get a donation from Credit Card directly. Paypal is more money. Paypal charges the credit card fees and the paypal fees on top.

The average donation is probably larger than $25. My guess would be $40-50 based on my experience with the LP.

Credit card is better for the campaign.

I'm sure this has been posted already but more donors are needed to reach the 1787 goal on ronpaul2008.com. They've posted a chart so you can see how close you are to the goal so please donate and lets show them we can do it!
