Are you going to give him a box of American DVD's in Pal format and a personalized ipod as gifts from the liberty movement?

You should casually pat him on the ass when you meet him.

Thompson was dumbfounded by inflation during the debates. Not sure if he is an idiot or just another corrupt globalist shitface.

when he says stuff to you, cock your head sideways and say in a sarcastic way..."Let me get this straight, we stop printing money, we bring all our troops home and ...RON PAUL!"

Well I have to be sort of cordial. He'll be at my radio station in Nashville where I work so I can't (nor would I want to) do anything completely inappropriate.

if u talk to him be sure to record it. since he's on his economic kick ask him why he supported the Iraq war knowing it was funded by massive debt to foreigners.

I heard Fred Thompson's new radio show on the radio the other day. A caller talked about how the government was out of control and Fred went on a "rant" (at least a rant by his standards) about how the government had strayed away from the constitution. Do be cordial. But I'd love to ask him "Can you think of any unconstitutional acts that were taken during the past 8 years"?

Well I just met him. I was going to tell him who I was and what we were doing (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=187398), but I just didn't have the heart to. He really is a nice down home kind of person he just doesn't "get" liberty and the Constitution. I've heard some gossip about him here in Nashville but it would be unethical for me to share ;):p

You should have asked him how he feels about paying more for cigars with the tax. (Although he actually smokes illegal Cubans....)

the mere whiff of elitist power subjugates even the most nobel, affording them, in one flashing moment, a glimpse of what it would be like to have such awe inspiring power.

however, you're most likely correct that he will never 'get' liberty; most ruling elites don't know what the fuss is all about.

You really missed out. A man could be the nicest guy in the world but that does not excuse his being a moron and cheerleading the destruction of our Republic.
