I remember meeting Alan Keyes years ago here in MD when my Father was the chairman of a gubernatorial campaign. I was always impressed with how he spoke plainly and honestly. We even had dinner with him a few times and even though I was a child he spoke to me like an actual adult when thet rest of the politicians acted as if I did not even exist.

I like the man and I think he is close to our viewpoints but I do wish he would fully come on board with the liberty movement. We sure could use him!

I voted for him in the primaries before Bush's first election. Yeah, it was protest vote. But almost all my votes have been in the last 2 decades. I like his message for the most part. He's a good orator.

Keyes has always impressed me as an orator and debater, except when he goes on a religious trip.

He belongs on talk radio. He's always fun to listen to. I'm not sure I'd want him in office though.

Ahh, so you were the other person who voted for him in the primaries :p

He was the last Republican I voted for before going off to college, then coming back into the movement almost 8 years later, Ron Paul was next.

I guess you could call it a Nader sandwich, cause I voted for him in the national election and in 2004..

Or when he directly singles out and challenges Ron Paul in debates.

Never liked Keyes. He shares a lot of the ideals of Ron Paul, but he is frequently uncharismatic and I don't like his religious rants.

But you know what, I'll trust him. He sounds very intelligent in this video. He brings up great points. Love his tearing apart of Obama. Good stuff.

"This is no laughing matter." Smack that son of ***** in the face, Keyes!
