View Full Version : A Revolution without a shot?

Could we, in the next two weeks, organise a mass campaign to get millions to file for an Extension on April 15th?

The massive drop in tax revenues would require a lot more debt to be raised.

Publicity of the tax fall off would cause foreign nations to Run the dollar into the ground.

That might be enough to trigger either a massive rethink of the budget, or, catastrophic hyper-inflation leading people to care about how their money works.

At the very least it would put the fear of the almighty People into Congress.

The Tea Parties are already organised and waiting...

Thoughts?

the best revolution would be a non spending revolution stop buying junk food, paying for the scam of health, auto, life insurance stop paying taxes. If half the country would do this for one week it would change the world as we know it.

I'd wager the majority of taxpayers are expecting money back form the government because of withholdings. So extensions would actually help the government.

But if they file for an extension, and read this book (http://www.losthorizons.com/Cracking_the_Code.htm) between now and August 15th, they would learn many could file this year and get all of their money back, including FICA.

By filing the extension tax form, you avoid the late filing tax penalty. However, Form 4868 does not extend the time to pay your tax. You must pay the amount of the tax estimated to be due for the tax year. Interest will be charged on unpaid tax from the original due date of the tax return.
