My History teacher has assigned a term paper so I chose History of Second Amendment.

But now he tells us we need a two page bio on someone relating to our topic.

Who, during the Revolution, was the most major player in this?

Was it Madison? Or Jefferson? Or somebody else?

Links would be great too.

I have Madison right now but can't find many convicing arugments.

Thanks!

http://gunowners.org/op0848.htm george mason's insightful take on governments
is part of the reason why we have a Bill of Rights http://economics.gmu.edu/wew/quotes/arms.html

the two above links in and of themselves would make a lousy paper, however if you focus on
George Mason & Virginia's Constitution, and then see how that hot debate at the state level was
a trial balloon for much that was debated later on, the ideas & stances George Mason comes up with
initially finally ends up being very similarly worded as an integral part of our Constitution's 2nd Amendment...
