Hitler/ Economic Saviour. Yet, Facism =bad?

I was thinking about this today and i confused myself. So Hitler got elected because he fixed the economic problems of Germany, right? Yet Fascism is bad. I in no way support Facism, obviously, but need a history lesson in Hitler i suppose. What did he do that helped them? Did he just start to lean towards nationalizing later? Etc.

Excluding the whole putting people in ovens part, btw.

I haven't studied my WW2 history well enough to give you a good answer but, i expect is was something along the lines of this.

"Don't worry, our government will protect and create jobs for you"
