Just got a website up for the documentary. Nothing earth shattering (stumbled through Wordpress/CSS) but it's got all the info about the project and a high res version of the teaser trailer we posted a couple months ago, updated in proper 16:9 and with EQed sound. We're working on a new trailer this weekend - will appear in the Trailers page on the site when done. You guys are gonna love it :)

those all endorsed and campaigned for Ron and they are known names

Oops I have to add Goldwater to the list, we have an interview with him. I emailed Rockwell a couple times back in Aug/Sept and he never responded. Never got a chance to meet the others you listed. We only had a limited amount of time to shoot back in Sept and our slate was already pretty full.

I've gotten emails back from him before and he used to post my PAC projects back during the campaign. So I always wondered why he didn't want to be interviewed for the doc. We went to Mises to interview Woods but Lew wasn't there that day, otherwise I'm sure we could have twisted his arm. Oh well.

I tried hard to get Justin Raimondo for months but it never worked out either. He was one I really wanted in the doc, as he's one of my favorite writers. Also, a professor who wrote an amazing book on networking flaked out too, agreed to an interview in Boston then wouldn't respond to us when we were there. Oh well, if people like this one they'll be more willing next time, assuming there would be a next time :)

YT upload is about 1/5 done, my DSL is slow as hell.

Coming along very good, about 80 mins done now, 20-30 more to go. Then we have to go through everything again and trim, clean up, color correct, audio mix/EQ, and put the final touches on everything. Have to design the DVD cover artwork. Approaching the top of the mountain though....the end is in sight :)

Have had problems clearing some of the music we wanted to use, especially the last song to end the film and into the credits - albeit one of the most important parts. They band won't let us use the song because they disagree with RP on social spending issues. Very annoying...had to basically re-think the editing of the ending. Seems once politics enters the playing field everything changes with regard to music and bands, etc.

The band was Parts & Labor, but I would request people don't harass them. We'll find a new song and work around it. Marc Scibilia may write us a custom score for the end, but there would be a fairly large cost involved so we're not sure - although I'm sure it would be amazing.
