Would 25% really improve our chances and how many cosponsors does the typical bill that passes have?

edit- now 48 out of 435 members.

Timing is everything. 1207 is perfect timing, and a beginning approach that has already received much more attention than Paul's previous end the Fed Bills.

What's the reality that 1207 can make it to the floor for debate and a vote?

Is this something that can happen soon (weeks to a few months) or do we have to worry about that wench Pelosi putting 1207 on the shelf to collect dust?

Does anyone have a good letter regarding 1207 to send to media sources? I've already sent around 250 faxes to Congress, but would also like to bomb the media with emails/faxes about it.

As important as it is to get our Reps behind this, we have to get the word out to ordinary citizens! The more people know, the more pressure they'll put on Congress.

One of the cosponsors is Roy Blunt, the former House Republic Whip. That seems like a pretty big name.

Tom Price my rep in GA is a co sponsor. I called his office to thank him. He also voted against the bailout. He still needs to come around on foreign policy though.
