He's satirizing those with the mentality that he describes in his post -- those who support violating people's rights, but shout their pride at living in a "free country" louder than anyone.

Doug Wead was no friend of Ron Paul in 2007 and 2008. Was he an asshole then, and now today he is casting satire on his own past actions? Or, was he casting satire upon RP opponents back in 2007 and 2008, and we just took it a little too serious?
