Here is a quick primer on rights.
1) All rights derive from property. If you own it, you can do whatever you want with it. EX: I own my body so I can cut off my arm if I want to. I can fill it with drugs if I want to. I own my life so I can end it if I want to. I own my house so I could burn it down if I want to.
2) Your rights end where someone's rights begin. EX: You do not have the right to smoke in a room if someone complains about your smoke. You do have the right to smoke if you own the room though, or have the permission of the owner of the room. If you have one of those two, then the person who complains must leave to satisfy their desire for a smokeless environment.
3) If you have to take property from someone to fulfill a "right", then it isn't a right. It is a privilege since you would need the permission of the person of whom you are taking either goods or services since they own those goods or services.
4) Rights come with responsibility. If you are not responsible with your right then you don't get to exersize it. EX: If I wildly shoot my gun in the air I am not being responsible therefore I do not get to exersize my right to have a gun. If I go spreading lies knowingly, I am not being responsible with my right to free speech so I don't get to use it or I am punished for spreading the lies.
5)You have the right to contract and you can make any agreement you so choose with any other person so long as it is voluntary. The government has the obligation to enforce these agreements. That's why you read everything before you sign it, I know I do. EX: I could become someones slave just like those back before the civil war, whippings and all. All I need to do is find someone who is willing to be my master and make the contract.
Obviously this isn't all inclusive, and hardly professional, but I think it is a good start.
