Occasionally a public school teacher turns activist against the change agents wreaking destruction of the traditional public school system. One courageous teacher was Marilyn L. Reicks who wrote “Education Reform Will Control You” in 1991. Her activism lead to her losing her teaching job. Some excerpts from this small package of dynamite follow:
A model for community education is being put in place: A model to show other schools in the nation how the school can become "the hub of the community" . Human services, health specialists, social services, law enforcement personnel, the world of work professionals, child care workers, and other social organizations and government agencies will work with the school . Services including primary health care, social services, counseling, child care, job training, employment, leisure activities, retirement, parenting, and et cetera will be controlled through the school.
