After seeing a few of the latest Ron Paul gatherings it looks like the venues are going to start getting larger with 1000-2000 person crowds of just core supporters. If there were concerts I'd imagine that would draw even larger crowds, especially with well known bands that would draw a lot of people just for the music.

Charging $20 a person with a huge crowd would have great potential...Ron Paul is a Rock Star, he should start getting the venues of one.

There's starting to be a number of bands/musicians that are RP supporters. Anyone here a promoter that could pull off events like this?

This really is a great idea. It would take one hell of an organizer though.

Heh heh instead of 'Rock Against Bush' it could be 'Rock Against Tyrrany/Neo-cons' or something.

Which bands/musicians have signed on to the Ron Paul bandwagon?

http://blog.myspace.com/bands4ronpaul - and there are many more.

I'm sure many would do it for free, as a promotional gig and chance to help the RP message. The key is the organization. (And the promotion - but hell, we're pretty dang good at that!)
