I wanted to say something thats been on my mind. Making a link unclickable is not good enough to hid the link. You must put the link in quotes. I beleive when the link is in quotes google does not pick that up.

example of quotes

(I may be wrong about this so correct me if I am wrong)

I mean google http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=http%3A%2F%2Fkaybrooks.blogspot.com%2F2009%2F03% 2Fdcrp-convention.html&btnG=Google+Search&aq=f&oq=

Didnt hide the fact he posted it on Ron Paul forums.

That is all folks

vbulletin has plugin that allow hiding of referrer link. Site admins need to put that in unless they are lazy. It basically hides the referrer, so the sites we link in this forum will not see ronpaulforums.com in their stats. They will just see anonym.to

For example - http://anonym.to/http://www.google.com

If you really want to hide info, just make the whole forum private or simply post in "off-topic" section which is private and not accessed by search engines.
