The White House recently announced that the 131st Easter Egg Roll will take place on Monday, April 13, 2009 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The annual event celebrates the start of Spring with musical performances, storytelling, cooking classes and the traditional egg roll on the lawn of the White House.
This year, the White House will open the South Lawn to children 10 and under and their families. Beginning this Thursday, March 26, tickets will be distributed online. Space is limited, and I expect tickets will go very quickly.
