ATLANTA (MyFOX ATLANTA) - The city of Atlanta made the decision Tuesday to defend Chief Richard Pennington and the Atlanta Police Department in a civil lawsuit on behalf of Kathryn Johnston.
Johnston was shot and killed during a botched police raid. Lawyer's for the elderly woman's family sought an $18 million settlement, but the city decided to fight it in court.
