Just heads up Schiff will be on Morning Joe tomorrow at roughly 8 am eastern. This might be interesting considering last time RP was on the show he was ganged up on by a group of Keynesians and he systematically raped them with knowledge. Here's the link.

Awesome! I'm thinking it's the email effort that paid off. Here's (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=181431) the original email. And here's (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?t=184281) Joe Scarborough praising Ron Paul a little while ago on TV

Good job to those that actually emailed... did anyone else email him? I'm a fan of the show and I've been hectoring Scarborough and his show a great deal lately... I actually kind of feel bad about it ;)

Thanks for the video. The one thing I noticed from that video was that the hosts wanted Congressman Paul to talk about "forward action" in solving the economic crisis. The problem is that the federal government has been taking too much action in the markets, so they need to step back and let the markets correct themselves without intervention.

I loved how Dr. Paul kept going back to the problem of deficit spending, and it seemed the anchors didn't comprehend that too much. For some reason, they believe the federal government should spend more money until we get ourselves out of debt. That is not going to happen as long as we prop up failing businesses with weak capital.

It's going to be interesting to hear what Peter Schiff says in his interview on Morning Joe. I'm pretty sure he'll be a double witness to what Congressman Paul has already explained.

Ron Paul Forums for the win...that was awesome.

Funny how it cuts to Haines and he tries to put down Peter Schiff. Why? This is why: @3:08 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z0YTY5TWtmU#t=3m08s

The clip of Peter Schiff on Morning Joe should be up on the Morning Joe website later today.

Ouch... Haines jabbed Schiff with a knife at the end... Probably destroyed his credibility with a lot of viewers who aren't familiar with Schiff, and Schiff didn't give an acceptable rebuttal.

I do want to watch the exchange again. It actually sounded, at first, to the unfamiliar observer as Haines praising him for talking about the problems over the past 20 years. To the liberals that watch MSNBC that could have been a compliment ie the "evil deregulation" of the Reagan era. But yeah that was petty....I sent an email with the Haines/Schiff clip link. Scarborough should enjoy that....

Either way it's amazing that the exact youtube video was shown on live TV.

Joe and others were building Schiff up as being mocked for the past four years by the same people in power who have obviously failed. Schiff says we need to do the opposite of what we're doing now and that we're just recreating bubbles.

Haines comes out of nowhere in a split-screen and tells Schiff that he's grabbing at straws and corrects Joe by saying that Schiff hasn't been mocked for four years -- when the problems became traceable to policy, but for twenty years and that even the blind squirrel finds the nut sometimes.

To be fair Morning Joe usually cuts to a CNBC rep in the morning and it's usually Haines (he's such a cranky person overall). I actually thought it would be funny if that happened with Schiff there but didn't think Haines would go out of his way to attack Peter Schiff. I figured he'd just go on with his report...I don't think Haines went out of his way to appear though.

Good appearance by Schiff! I hope he will become a regular on that show. He's got a lot of educating to do!

Let's email them and thank them for having Schiff on.
