Geez, even with all the pimping on national television and radio, I'm a little surprised it's #1. Or maybe not; there are a lot of neocons and Hannitybots.

(Does "Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto" sound like a rip-off of Paul's book's title?)

I guess 1 Rush Limbaugh isn't enough.

I thought the same thing.

Levin isn't worth the mic he spews into. Piece of trash.

He and Hannity were in a circle jerk yesterday on his show. Basically he sounds enough like a neocon to be one

Let's just hope that shrill little neo-quack doesn't make an audiobook out of it.

YouTube - Mark Levin announces 4-21-09 that Ron Paul is not going to be elected president (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Am5OAo4XPqw)

I'll never give up. Not as long as I have to commute to and from a job.

Do you guys even understand the difference between neocons and the New Right? Do you even know what Mark Levin writes about in his new book?

Okay, well here's news for all of you Goldwater nutriders. Levin is more Goldwater than Barry Goldwater was himself.

Some guy was toting that book at the last Tea Party I went to. Pretty sad.

I don't think Goldwater would have approved of the Iraq misadventure. Fighting the Communist monolith? Yes. Invade a strategically unimportant nation like Iraq with negligible ties to Al Qaeda? No. Plus, Goldwater would have gone ballistic over the Bush Administration.

We invaded Iraq on allegations of WMDs. Whether or not Goldwater would have seen through the bullshit is another matter entirely. The fact of the matter remains that he was a war hawk. He wanted to raise defense spending and cut domestic spending, taxes, and regulations. That's the definition of the New Right, that's what Levin is. Neoconservatism is a completely different ideology which promotes more domestic and foreign intervention.

But Iraq nor Syria pose any true threat to the sovereignty of the United States. There were legtimate reasons to fear Soviet aggression, especially after the way they dealt with the Hungarian rebellion in 1956. I cannot understand why Levin is so stridently pro-Israel without realizing they may be the most powerful nation in the region. He's bought into the Neocon propaganda. I'm not an Arab sympathizer but I don't understand how he conjure up such strong feelings.
