If you're an anti-abortion activist, or if you display political paraphernalia supporting a third-party candidate or a certain Republican member of Congress, if you possess subversive literature, you very well might be a member of a domestic paramilitary group.

That's according to "The Modern Militia Movement," a report by the Missouri Information Analysis Center (MIAC), a government collective that identifies the warning signs of potential domestic terrorists for law enforcement communities. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/img/third_party_candidates.jpg

wow, who knew that the Digg comment:

Um. The KKK was created by Democrats, and Martin Luther King was a Republican. Please don't take my word for it: look it up and judge for yourself. I am a Republican because I believe in the dream of Martin Luther King, that all people might be considered equal, and judged not by the color of their skin, but by the quality of their character.

I fail to even grasp or comprehend how people automatically lump all members of the party of Martin Luther King together as "racists" and say that people who oppose the party that started the KKK hate minorities.

It's as though all of reality is in mirror image, and people are saying "up" to mean "down," or "blue" to mean "red." I am at a loss to explain it.

(in response to 'fugazied')

would engender that much hate from the Democrats. :D

I think so. Either that whore should apologize, or get his ass hauled into court.

Diggers, I need your help here:

I've been buried to -2 which will hide what I consider a very rational argument. Obamabots don't care for anything but their propaganda. If you could assist by unburying my reply to "fugazied" I would extremely appreciate it. Thanks so much

LOL, there is only so much someone can do to hide from the truth. Eventually, it WILL catch up to you. It is better for them to see it now than later; but if they refuse to see it until the last, then every time they tried to hide it from others will be weighed upon them. And every time we tried to prevent them from hiding the truth, will be that much lighter of a burden for ourselves.

Done. But Gunny, I sure don't agree with your next post about MLK. He was a Communist-sympathizer at the very least.

Not sure, but I had some socialist leaning in my youth. I was doing some research on COINTELPRO a while back. I know that was one of the attacks that was used. whether he was of knew some people that were is hard to tell.
Sort of like the myth of the militia being violent that came out of OKC. Spin ,Hype and false information repeated for years, now everyone questions everything about the MIAC report EXCEPT the part about militia.
Funny how that works.
http://www.icdc.com/~paulwolf/cointelpro/churchfinalreportIIcd.htm

The Committee finds that covert action programs have been used to disrupt the lawful political activities of individual Americans and groups and to discredit them, using dangerous and degrading tactics which are abhorrent in a free and decent society.

Subfindings

(a) Although the claimed purposes of these action programs were to protect the national security and to prevent violence, many of the victims were concededly nonviolent, were not controlled by a foreign power, and posed no threat to the national security.

(b) The acts taken interfered with the First Amendment rights of citizens. They were explicitly intended to deter citizens from joining groups, "neutralize" those who were already members, and prevent or inhibit the expression of ideas.

(c) The tactics used against Americans often risked and sometimes caused serious emotional, economic, or physical damage. Actions were taken which were designed to break up marriages, terminate funding or employment, and encourage gang warfare between violent rival groups. Due process of law forbids the use of such covert tactics, whether the victims are innocent law-abiding citizens or members of groups suspected of involvement in violence.

(d) The sustained use of such tactics by the FBI in an attempt to destroy Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., violated the law and fundamental human decency.

I agree with MLK's stance against racial collectivism. By considering my audience of Obamatons, I felt it a good idea to help expose their hypocrisy through linking racial collectivism with political collectivism. I don't honestly know whether MLK was a political collectivist or not; but by linking racial collectivism and political collectivism, I am hoping to strike a match inside of an Obamaton's mind. if racial collectivism is bad, then so is political collectivism.

If MLK was a racial anti-collectivist, but a political collectivist, then he was a hypocrite. There is a LOT that I very much dislike about MLK, just like there is a LOT that I dislike about Jesse Jackson - neither one having to do with the color of their skin.

If I can convince just ONE person to stop considering people for the letter of their party, and judge them instead for the content of their politics, then it will have been worth it. And what I said was true - I don't *know* enough about MLK's politics to know whether he was a political collectivist or not. Instead, I said that MLK was against racial collectivism, therefore I can't imagine he'd be a political collectivist. My intention was to frame that last part clearly as an opinion.

Thanks LE for the unbury.

Thanks all for the unburying. I'm experimenting with methods to reach the Obamatons, and this experiment would never get tested if it never saw the light of day. ;)

GunnyFreedom, there are hundreds of FBI COINTELPRO documents about the wiretapping and worse done on MLK...

i'm pleased the Missouri ACLU has stepped into this. we have to defend our rights whenever they are trampled on...
