im sure many of you like myself were fans of the infamous cartoon captain planet. now that i think of it doesnt it seem to you that it was globalist propaganda to prepare my generation for the global carbon taxes and the sacrifice to "save the planet"? it sure sounds to me like that now that i know better

most cartoon were forms of propaganda.
That is fact.
They also help set stereotypes from an early age.

Sure. "Captain Planet -- he's the Hero" didn't give it away?

Luckily, it was an awful animation that I recall my parents watching to encourage me to go leave the room and do... non-TV stuff... Like hit rocks against each other.

There's no agenda or indoctrination involved. It's not a sketch you see in, say, Saturday morning cartoons. The humor of it is defined right in the title of the sketch. The audience is left to wonder if they are taking advantage of certain situations to do gay stuff with each other, or if they are oblivious to the fact that they're doing gay stuff while carrying on with their superhero routine.

GO PLANET!

With your powers combined I am Captain Planet!

Captain Planet, he's our hero,
Gonna take pollution down to zero,
He's our powers magnified,
And he's fighting on the planet side

Captain Planet, he's our hero,
Gonna take pollution down to zero,
Gonna help him put us under,
Bad guys who like to loot and plunder

"You'll pay for this Captain Planet!"

(chanting)
We're the planeteers,
You can be one too!
'Cause saving our planet is the thing to do,
Looting and polluting is not the way,
Hear what Captain Planet has to say:

"THE POWER IS YOURS!!"

From Captain Planet's wiki page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Captain_Planet_and_the_Planeteers):

"The program is a form of edutainment, which advocates the United Nations as an organization, and the concepts of globalism, multiculturalism and environmentalism generally."

Soviet Union, so basically Eastern Europe. lulz

Linka: From the Soviet Union, Linka has the power of Wind. At 16 years old, Linka closely studies bird life. She is a master of strategy and logic, as well as a computer expert. She is a no-nonsense girl whose common sense has helped the group when in their most critical moments. She sometimes appears to reciprocate or appreciate Wheeler's soft spot, but is often annoyed at him and therefore does not pursue the altered relation. Later in the series her introduction stated that she was from Eastern Europe, rather than the Soviet Union, after the fall of the latter in the early 1990s.

Then they changed it apparently.

doesnt it seem to you that it was globalist propaganda to prepare my generation for... the sacrifice to "save the planet"?

So you think humans shouldn't sacrifice to protect our environment? If you're doing something that is making your land uninhabitable for your children, then you should keep doing the same thing?

Full property rights neglected since the Industrial Revolution.

We outlaw pollution that harms others property.

The eco fascists want to Tax it. We outlaw it. Whose caring more for the environment?

One wants to save civilization and humanity. The other wants to destroy it.

I much preferred Robotech in my youth. It showed war that actually had people dying in it, including named characters. One of the 'lessons' from it was the unstated concept of Just War. Definitely be better than alot of other shows, both then and now.

YouTube - Robotech Opening (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P39cFXRU8uU)

YouTube - Robotech II - The Sentinels (Opening) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4GeZuvJNlGQ)

Of course, Robotech was born originally in Japan as 3 unrelated anime series: Super Dimension Fortress: Macross, Super Dimension Cavalry: Southern Cross and Genesis Climber Mospeada. It was adapted from these 3 series into one contiguous series of 3 generations struggling against alien invasions.
