One week after Rachael Madow did this interview (http://videocafe.crooksandliars.com/heather/rachel-maddow-mark-danner-red-cross-report-torture), the Obama administration has bent and agreed to Declassification of Bush torture memos (http://www.newsweek.com/id/190362)

The debate about torture ramped up again last week with an account in the New York Review of Books about a secret International Red Cross report that was delivered to the CIA in February 2007. The report, according to journalist Mark Danner, quotes detainees describing, often in gruesome detail, how they were locked in coffin-size boxes; swung by towels around their necks into plywood walls; and forced to stand naked for days while their arms were shackled above their heads.

Hopefully the left will destroy the neocons for us since we're obviously incapable of doing it ourselves.

I consider it a form of unintended benevolent welfare for us donated by the left. Hopefully we don't get communized and enslaved in the process, but sit back and watch the Obama show for a while I guess since there's nothing to be done but watch the chaos.

think of it as a kiss from some very juicy lips, but lips are painted with some poisonous lipstick.

they will destroy the neocons, and our movement as well by grouping us with them.

they are already doing this by lambasting capitalism and limited government as the cause of all this mess.

I strongly disagree.

I favor a scorched earth policy with regard to neoconservatives. If it means total destruction of the U.S.A. by the hands of Obama, well then we'll have to rebuild from stratch I guess.

If we don't destroy or someone else doesn't destroy the neocons, they will regroup for 2012. They are already doing so. I will support Paul or Baldwin again if they run, but it's unlikely we'll get enough votes. If the left destroys the Bush crime family for us, more power to them in my opinion.

The republicans tend to elect the next person in line. I can even see McCain being the nominee again in 2012 or Sarah Palin. Even Fred Thompson is terrible.

I really can't stand any of these people.

You mean Bush will release the soft core torture memos, the ones he and Cheney didn't get to shred/burn prior to leaving office. Remember Cheney was sued to release the Vice Presidential records for the archives and he claimed the office of the VP was not part of the executive branch of government.

NOT PART Of THE EXECUTIVE BRANCH???!!! YOU'RE THE FREAKING VICE PRESIDENT!!!! What a fü@king snake in the grass....

A desperate attempt to show us shiny things that will draw attention away from the economic crisis.

I'm of the opinion that we're Ef'd with regards to Obama's economic agenda of socialism, welfarism, corporatism, etc.

Let's hope he gets one thing correct and finishes off Bush-Cheney for us. At least that way the party can have a fresh exoskeleton to work with in 2012.

If we can ever get rid of the neocons, this party might actually be functionable.
