I started reading LRC and Mises, and I eventually found my way to antiwar.com along with Scott Horton's interviews there.

Then there are few leftists who started at antiwar, and eventually found their way to LRC and Mises.

You figure it out. ( HINT: Left/Right is the archist spectrum. ;) )

Well antiwar focuses more on destroying the military industrial complex and our interventionist foreign policy whereas LRC focuses more on how Obama wants to destroy our economy and enslave everyone domestically. Not that LRC doesn't support the same stuff, but it the sites have a different focus.

Who was the LRC "FOCUS" ( aside from Ron ) BEFORE the Kenyan POTUS? ;)

Well Raimondo has articles on LRC, and he calls it the sister site of LRC in his own words.

Why am I getting colder? They're both libertarian sites with the same thinking, but they have different emphasis. One attracts republicans and one attracts more democrats.

archist spectrum? I don't know what that means.

I'm saying LRC and anti-war are attracting different people to the same concept.

ya I agree....so what? That doesn't change the content of my post.

People think of themselves that way, and they have pet issues. That's why I said the two sites are the same thing, but one more tends to attract more democrats while the other attracts more republicans.

Why? :)

I don`t think it is helpful to think in those terms. Antiwar.com links to viewpoints from many different publications. Including a progressive/socialist/hard-left publication like counterpunch.org.

I think a leftist that visits antiwar.com but doesnt know about many other places is more likely to end up at counterpunch.org than at lewrockwell.com.

Do you just post for the sake of posting?

You and I are told increasingly that we have to choose between a left or right, but I would like to suggest that there is no such thing as a left or right. There is only an up or down
-- Ronald Reagan

You're annoying. Everything you're saying was already in this post.

BTW- I suppose I have to enter a disclaimer that Reagan sucked too despite liking his quote or people will post a bunch of stuff to educate me.

I understand that, but that doesn't mean the classification do not exist. Again, my point is that one site draws the traditional American left Democrats and the other side draws the traditional American right Republicans to the same concept.
