Announcing the Launch of RGOP.org

PR Web
March 20, 2009

The site, http://www.rgop.org , is not intended to debate the issues that serve to divide Americans, but to build a broad coalition around the principles that unite us.

Two weeks ago, a group of Republican activists launched http://www.constitutionrevolution2012.com , a pledge site to support Ron Paul, or the most Constitutional candidate running for president in 2012. It was also a prelude to something much bigger. As principled conservatives who reject the aggressive use of state power at home and abroad, they chose to mark the sixth anniversary of the invasion of Iraq by launching a new website to organize support for candidates who support the US Constitution and the principles behind it: www.rgop.org The site is not intended to debate the issues that serve to divide Americans, but to build a broad coalition around the principles that unite us.

After serving in Fallujah in 2004 with a Marine Corps civil affairs team, Adam Kokesh has become one of the most vocal critics of the war on the grounds that it is unconstitutional. During the Ron Paul presidential campaign, he became symbolic of the military support for Ron Paul, who received more campaign contributions from active duty service members than all other primary candidates combined. "The new American freedom movement has arrived. As our founders did, we are demanding no less than a revolution, and we are not going anywhere until we get it. This will be a peaceful revolution, a revolution of values, a revolution of principles, and a revolution of this country's understanding of what it means to be a patriotic American. We bring the same resolve and commitment to this struggle as our founders brought to theirs."

Kenneth Griffin hopes RGOP.org unites all people from all parties. Liberty has no party. It is his hope that RGOP.org can promote liberty minded candidates from all parties to become torch bearers of liberty and the US Constitution. A patriot who is dedicated to spreading the message of liberty, he campaigned hard for Ron Paul in 2008 in Colorado, attending the Colorado GOP Convention as a delegate and was inspired by the huge support for Ron Paul. It is this true patriotic spirit that encouraged him to help unite not only Colorado citizens, but to encourage all Americans to get involved and take action.

In the very successful tradition of the grassroots support for Ron Paul's presidential campaign, the RGOP team has released a series of videos promoting the effort:
