Anybody read anything from this man?

He appears to be a monetarist as far as I can tell. I have been reading his Ascent of Money and agree with some points he makes but not on others. It gives some spot histories of certain monetary happenings in the world and continually links back into recent history. His base point seems sound that monetary changes translate into policy impacts.

I know he also wrote what seems to be a pretty big history called The House of Rothschild that seems good, talking about you know who.

There also seems to be a book that seems like it would be good called War of the Worlds., or something like that.

he is an imperialist, but a worth a read. he is definately not a neocon although you maay disagree with his pov.

Niall Ferguson had a pretty good interview on Glenn Beck not that long ago about socialism.

I really need to return The Ascent of Money to my local library...three weeks overdue and its new....
