He didn't really lie about bumper stickers.

No where in the report did it talk about "Ron Paul Bumper Stickers."

The report mentions "anti-government" bumper stickers.

Lies and evasion. That's the name of the game.

But it's ok if the police do it.

He didn't really lie about bumper stickers.

No where in the report did it talk about "Ron Paul Bumper Stickers."

The report mentions "anti-government" bumper stickers.

you seem like you didnt read the manual
let me quote it for you then:
"Political paraphernalia: Militia members most commonly associate with 3rd party political groups. It is not uncommon for militia members to display Constitutional Party, Campaign for Liberty, or Libertarian material. These members are usually supporters of former Presidential Candidate: Ron Paul, Chuck Baldwin, and Bob Barr."
then goes on in the following paragraph
Anti-government propaganda: Militia members commonly display picture, cartoons, bumper stickers that contain anti-government rhetoric. Most of this material will depict the FRS, IRS, FBI, ATF, CIA, UN, Law Enforcement and "The New World Order" in a derogatory manner. Additionally, Racial, anti-immigration, and anti-abortion, material may be displayed by militia members.
so it all depends on what the individual cop considers to be Political paraphernalia or "anti government" bumper stickers

He didn't really lie about bumper stickers.

No where in the report did it talk about "Ron Paul Bumper Stickers."

The report mentions "anti-government" bumper stickers.

The report’s most controversial passage states that militia “most commonly associate with third-party political groups” and support presidential candidates such as Ron Paul, former Constitutional Party candidate Chuck Baldwin and Bob Barr, the Libertarian candidate last year.

From the Delaware Libertarian Party critique:

Does anyone have a copy of the original report?

The official (public) version of the Missouri annual report on Homeland Security, wherein the MIAC functions are discussed. (2007 version) (http://www.dps.mo.gov/HomelandSecurity/2007%20Annual%20Report.pdf).

Still looking for the document from 2009, directly related to this story...

That's right kiddies--bumper stickers are no longer 'material'. They're made of plastic now! In fact, all political paraphenalia is made of plastic now! We just included the reference to political material to fool you into getting upset! Haw haw!

A year ago, two people reported they had been pulled over by the police for having a "Ron Paul Bumper Sticker" on their car. There was a lot of discussion about it, and I dismissed the whole thing think there must have been other reasons they were pulled over... now I'm sorry I didn't believe them.

At the time they said the officer even told them they were stopped for the bumper sticker (and no other reason). Again, I dismissed it, think there must have been more to the story... now we have the rest of the story.

The good news is this, now that Alex Jones has given this topic a good discussion it has been national news and things are likely to change for the better. This is how we fight the New World Order... wake up, people, get in the fight.
