I am not a religious person, but have found this to be a valuable resource. For those who are interested in the founding of our country and the role Chrisitianity played in it there is no better a documentation. This book is terribly upsetting for the ACLU and other anti-American authoritarian collectivists. It is a detailed historical geneaology of our founding in Christian principles. It isn't an anti-seperation of Chruch and State Document, it is simply a resource for the documentation of our values and moral origins, valuable to any person.

You can download it from here for free. It is public domain so no need to pay for a copy. This is a pdf from Google's Open Source book scan. No Need to pay $29.95 for a book that is in the public domain.

The Christian Life and Character of the Civil Institutions of the United States by Benjamin F. Morris (1864) (http://aztlandestroyer.com/public/Christian_Life_and_Character_of_the_Civi.pdf)

In 1864… Christian writer and historian Benjamin F. Morris wrote the following concerning the monumental volume:

"THIS volume is committed to the American people... In it, as from the richest historical mines, has been brought out the pure gold of our history...

Its treasures have been gathered and placed in this casket for the instruction and benefit of the present and future. We have a noble historic life.

Our ancestors were the worthies of the world. We have a noble nation, full of the evidences of the molding presence of Christian truth, and of the power and goodness of Divine wisdom in rearing up a Christian republic for all time. That this was the spirit and aim of the early founders of our institutions, the facts in this volume fully testify.

The ACLU is a communist founded and socially destructive organization which masks it's purpose by taking on a few legitimate cases. The sole purpose of the ACLU is to explot American liberalism for the purpose of internal decay to allow collectivists ideals to take hold.
