George W Bush had his fundraising "rangers". These were people that worked their rolodex to raise up to $2300 from as many people as possible. Why don't we do the same thing and call ourselves the "Ron Paul Rainmakers". I've already maxed out and looking for new ways to help raise some serious money for the campaign. I'm a commodity broker out here in Southern California and I know lots of my clients and business contacts would give money to this campaign if asked. What does everyone think of this idea?

You should get a website going that's exclusively for maxed out contributors, and maybe arrange some dinner parties. Try your best to build a social, almost philanthropic, aspect to the group.

This way when you speak with your business partners and/or well off clients, you can sort of pitch this thing as a freedom club, and present it as an opportunity to do some networking in addition to supporting the good Dr. Paul.

Freedom club isn't free, its 2300 dollars.

Great idea - wish I had contacts like that. If your comfortable talking to them about it then go for it.

Great idea - this is exactly the strategy that Romney has used with great success. It is also key for large donors to know how else they can help after they max out (contributions to PACs, etc.). I like the idea mentioned above of a website for these folks that encourages activism and financial support for all of the projects going on (TV/Radio,etc.)
