No Stephen, Marijuana doesn't lead to harder drugs, bad parenting sets kids in the path to reckless behavior.

But, again Ron does have a very valid point that throwing people in jail for smoking pot creates hardened violent criminals. Prison is supposed to be "correctional", not by design set up to encourage "repeat business" where people who get out just go right back in.

Then we get the Rapists and Murderers let out of prison early because we've so overcrowded the prisons with pot smokers that theres just no room left for the real criminals.

Someone said this in the comments...

"There is nothing anyone could add to this, rendering any comments useless. Just pass it around."

This is a great video. Baldwin said we need to look at this with some common sense and Ron Paul delivered it.

Poor Baldwin. He brought a dull knife to a gun fight.

Poor Baldwin. He brought a dull knife to a gun fight.

I was thinking the same thing.
This is like putting a lil' kid in the ring with Mike Tyson.

Baldwin is a dull knife.

Poor CNN. They brought Steven Baldwin to a Ron Paul fight.

Yes he got absolutely destroyed. Did anyone else notice that while Ron Paul was spewing his perfectly logical, well constructed, and common sense argument you could even see Stephen widen his eyes and nod his head every few statements as if he was thinking, "Well damn, he's actually right. What do I do..." Brilliant, Ron, just brilliant.

I think you are confused because you still equate:

my personal preference = legal mandate
