I have no idea who started this, but apparently we're prepared for "operational military capability at the fire team and squad levels". And the word is out to law enforcement. There can be little doubt of confrontation now.

It's way too obvious. It's the first thing they'll go for. Either camo or we put a big sign on it that says "BROUGHT TO YOU BY GMAC FINANCING".
