Copied from a bulletin post made by the official Ron Paul MySpace profile. Michael Parenti is the last guest on the show appearing around the 50 minute mark. Please pass it on.

Dear Ron Paul Supporters,

On Democracy Now! today, there is a gentleman named Michael Parenti bashing free markets, capitalism and Republicans in general. I could not help but think Congressman Ron Paul should be sitting next to this man putting Perenti's spin in context. Whilst many Democracy Now! viewers and listeners might lean to the left and many might think Obama is a messiah, a greater number of listeners are much more open minded. This is a group that we, as Ron Paul supporters should work hard to influence, for they can change the outcome of future elections.

I am saying all of this in hopes that Ron Paul supporters will listen to todays show at Democracy Now! and then take action to contact the shows producers in a diplomatic way, of course, urging the show to lift what appears to be a ban on Ron Paul. To my knowledge, Ron Paul has never been invited on as a guest onto the show. If Ron Paul was able to penetrate the shows viewership with his message of REAL change and TRUE freedom, it would be a great advance for The Revolution.

Whilst the hosts of the show will not be easy of Ron Paul, for they do indeed ask the tough questions with raised eyebrows, the Congressman ALWAYS rises to the occasion and will most definitely gain a flurry of new supporters.

You can watch the show at http://DemocracyNow.Org and use the site to send a e-mail to the shows producers. Remember, be diplomatic, and urge the producers to invite the Congressman on as a guest to speak about the Federal Reserve, TRUE free markets as opposed to the fake free markets we have had for quite some time.

Thanks for your ear.

Warmest Regards,

One of my favorite things to use on liberals is, we would never deny the majority of your citizens state-level socialism if they want it. And since Democratic New Jersey is the biggest 'donor state' in the Union and Mississippi receives the biggest surplus of federal tax dollars compared to what they pay--and it is a state that never seems to fail to vote G.O.P., you'd think Jersey would be happy to keep its own money for its own programs and let Mississippi do better without interference if it thinks it can.

I think Peter Schiff might be a better choice. Paul is great, but Schiff has a more aggressive approach, as well as a knack for simplifying complex issues.

(I chose "story idea" from the drop down box)

Here's the message I sent:

I recently watched a segment with Michael Parenti in which he stated "the free market doesn't work", and discusses the housing bubble, fraudulent use of bailout money, and the unaccountability of the Federal Reserve. He also blames Republicans for debt spending and praises renegade Democrat Dennis Kucinich. My story idea is to have renegade Republican Congressman Ron Paul appear on your program and discuss these issues. He has long been warning about the housing bubble and how the current bailouts attempt to reinflate the bubble economy will fail. He has also also spoken out against the unaccountability of the Federal Reserve, and in fact introduced a bill to audit the Fed. As the Federal Reserve is a very hot topic right now, I would love to Ron Paul on your show to discuss the role of the Federal Reserve and how it effects the free market economy. While he may have a different political outlook from Democracy Now's program, I believe opening up a dialog and bringing together different viewpoints may lead to a solution to the financial crisis, and present an intellectual challenge for the hosts, guests, and viewers. Thank you.
