HR 45 Blair Holt Firearm Licensing & Record of Sales Act of 2009
Update from a website I read. This is getting down right scary!! Please see www.jsmineset.com if links do not work. Now, where can I get one of those indoor pistol ranges?

Jim Sinclair’s Commentary

"Many of you have no interest in the following. I do. I have an indoor pistol range in my home. It is 65 feet long and takes 800 cubic feet of air down the shooting tube every minute, and can handle up to 50 calibre. I have targets made up of SIVs. Maybe my hobby is an endangered species. Maybe we are an endangered species. Today in Washington it is starting to look like it."

HR 45 Blair Holt Firearm Licensing & Record of Sales Act of 2009.

For your Information basically this would make it illegal to own a firearm - any rifle with a clip or ANY pistol unless:

•It is registered
•You are finger printed
•You supply a current Driver’s License
•You supply your Social Security number
•You will submit to a physical and mental evaluation at any time of their choosing
•Each update - change or ownership through private or public sale must be reported and costs $25 - Failure to do so you automatically lose the right to own a firearm and are subject up to a year in jail.
•There is a child provision clause on page 16 section 305 stating a child-access provision. Gun must be locked and inaccessible to any child under 18.

They would have the right to come and inspect that you are storing your gun safely away from accessibility to children. Not doing so is punishable by up to 5 yrs. in prison.

I can't believe we have these politicians even proposing such bills.

I just got an email on this. The government sure does hate freedom.

What part of RIGHT and SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED do these crooks not understand?

Gun ownership is not a privilege to be removed or altered by government.

You do not have to ask PERMISSION to exercise your rights.

They do not have the authority to infringe upon your rights IN ANY FASHION.

It's as simple as that.

Not allow access to kids under 18? So you can't teach your children to shoot? Now we know the age range they are targeting the real anti-gun propaganda at.

Just to put this into perspective if this is not blocked: my stepmother in the UK told me that if I ever owned a firearm (even to hunt) she would inform the police and have me arrested "for my own good" - because only criminals own guns. This is the same woman that said I was over-reacting when I complained over the UK government banned parents from spanking their children: now, a few years later, we have our first LA-style streetgangs. The people who come out for support of bills like this are utterly blind, and acquiescent to the state - they prefer the easy life of a slave to the hard work of liberty.

Actually, I think its more accurate to say that the government fears freedom.

Once someone comes to the point of acknowledging individual freedom and liberty, they cease to give permission to government to interject in their lives.

.Not according to our robed government employees...er Supreme Court. They have ruled that although we have rights the state has the "right" to regulate them. As if that even makes sense. :)
