I don't see any movie section on the forums, so I will post here.

What do you guys think about the new movie Watchmen?
It certainly dealt a lot with politics and morality. Same type of stuff we are all facing.

So please, discuss the movie. Those who haven't watched it, probably shouldn't read.

Haven't seen the movie yet.

Just bought the paperback version a couple of days ago. It won the Hugo award  and is one of "Time magazine's, 100 best novels". :)

I don't know if anyone plays PS3 but Metal Gear Solid 4 was amazing. It was like a couple of full length movies as the cut scenes were 90 minutes long. It touches on some great themes like shadow government, the racket of war, and the dangers of microchipping and gun control.

I liked Watchmen a lot. It's not for everyone, but if you like superhero movies and graphic novel adaptations such as 300 and V for Vendetta, you'll like it. In fact, it's the same director as 300, and the same writer as V for Vendetta.

In many ways, the movie is very sad. It looks at the human condition, how evil and corrupt people can be, and makes it all seem pretty hopeless. On the other hand, there is always hope, and that is why some of these retired heroes won't quit.

It provokes a lot of thought and discussion, covering politics philosophy and romance, but anything else I say would probably spoil it. Just go see it!

Watchmen was really amazing. Although I liked the graphic novel more than the movie since the movie had to cut stuff out. Now, (spoilers) I found it quite shocking that Nite Owl and Silk Spectre could simply go on with their lives after realizing what Veidt did. Rorschach seemed to be the only sane one. In my opinion, Veidt was only delaying the inevitable since there will eventually be unrest in a world government. I also believe he had no right to take those people's lives who were completely innocent.

The comedian too.

Alex jones, though, said they made Veidt look right and Rorschach look like that bad one. This clearly was not the case. I think this movie is anti-false flag, not pro.
