NEW YORK -- February 23, 2009: Westwood One is set to launch the new Fred Thompson Show on March 2 in the noon-2 p.m. slot, and it has more than 125 stations already on board, including stations in the DC, Dallas, Houston, and Minneapolis markets.

If you don't fall asleep listening, I think some pro-Paul people calling in would be a good idea.

This show sounds stupid. But yeah, we should call in and grill his neocon ass.

Things I like about Fred Thompson:

1. Fred Thompson made fun of Mitt Romney when Mitt said he likes mandates.

2. See # 1.

I think Thompson was the best of the bunch, especially on fiscal matters, besides Dr. Paul. With that being said, let's grill his ass.

Don't be fooled. He's a delusional neocon warmonger and big religion pusher.

When you call his show, be sure to ask him how it felt to have Ron Paul mop the floor with him in the 08 primaries, and ask him whether he has reconsidered his warmongering views since then.

I bet it will be easy to get through on his show. I remember seeing some of his rallies in the primary states where like 6 people showed up. :)

When he speaks I fall asleep. Kinda like turkey or warm milk without that yummy feeling. I will avoid him at all costs.

So true. When he announced he was dropping out, I happened to be driving by his headquarters and saw him giving an interview in the empty parking lot.

When you call in be sure to ask him if he now feels silly for this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FZWt897p7tY&feature=related

He used to get rave reviews when he filled in for Paul Harvey though.

I won't be listening, but I'm not sure he's going to crash and burn.

I'll bet that he will be too lazy to even make it to the studio half of the time. This show is toast before it even starts.
