I'm trying to find some names of the Keynesian economists that said that the post war drop in spending would take the US back into the depression. Anyone have any names and or links I can use to debunk what my Sheep acquaintance is defending?

Thanks!

Here (http://books.google.com/books?id=18w8JtsMRIcC&pg=PA168), the paragraph that begins "Paul Samuelson".

Here's an interesting quote from Paul Samuelson.

Lives of the Laureates

Here is my worst error. Do you remember the infamous wrong prediction by economist that after World War II there would be mass unemployment? I was no part of the multi-agency team that produced the offical 1945 forecast of doomsday. But, if you look at they yellowing files of the New Republic, you will find a well-written article by this humble servant that involves a large squared forecasting error on the downard side. My friend and mentor, Alvin Hansen, who belived in a postwar restocking boom, could have taught me better. And so could Sumner Slichter and a host of Keynesians and non-Keynesians.
