View Full Version : Tell us what liberty message to paint on this car....
a local guy around here paints his car with spray paint every few days with anti O or pro liberty messages... hes running out of ideas and needs your help.
he said he wanted to go a little more low key than what he has been, and wants to put the next several messages in the form of a question to get people thinking.

nice :) ... but about 2 words per side is about max the metro can handle.... I am making 1.5 inch stencils for websites to put on the back....

That car gives off quite an impression. It reeks of desperation. Unfortunately when you add anti-Obama messages it also reeks of "angry white Republican is a sore loser".
"Waiting on Stimulus.." or something similar that could potentially be coming from an Obama supporter.
leave that on for a few weeks. Take a really good pic of it. Submit to reddit, digg, etc..

Which is why I suggested 'robbed by bankers'. The car is perfect for expressions of, I want opportunity but I'm under the Government Thumb.
How about, "Need bailout but can't afford the kickback"? Something along those lines...
Putting 'I'm bailing out Bank of America' on a t-shirt would be a pretty powerful message. Fitting it on the sides of that crate would take it to a whole new level.

Make 'Bailing out B of A' fit on one side and squeeze 'Bailing out Citi' on the other. On that car, it would speak volumes.
im writing these down, thanks for the great suggestions im sure some of you will see yours on the car soon
as for the owner and car... this is a small town, this guy is actually pretty wealthy but doesn't show it in any way at all... hes really down to earth, but he HATES liberals, and goes around town professing that on a constant basis.
everyone knows him and hes funny and well liked, most people do say "boy that ___ is a character" or just think hes pretty kooky. he has made all the decisions on what has gone on the car thus far, but I have told him which ones were probably better left off, like the monkey face one.
hes also convinced O is a infiltrator and bringing this country down on purpose. mostly hes just trying to voice his opinion in a comical and unconventional way, and make people question the messiah :)

I've got nothing against beaters (intentionally scrappy cars).. I've driven one myself.
Unfortunately once you start spray painting stuff on the side they don't sit too well with the folks who like to stick with the status quo (i.e. the vast majority in this country... ugh) so there's a razor fine line of what will fly and what won't on that canvas.
acptulsa -- "I want opportunity but I'm under the Government Thumb" .. .exactly. Some of these messages would be totally muted if they were printed on a bumper sticker and put on a $30,000 car. Spray painted on the side of that car though - they speak volumes.
how about
"BAILOUT NEEDED"
or
"NO BONUS 4 ME"
or
"My paycheck goes to C, WFC, JPM, BAC, AIG"

Why not, "Taxed to death" or "Made in USSR".
I do like "Gold = Money" or "Ron Paul Was Right"
I just thought of another one, what about, "google g edward griffin" or just "g edward griffin".
If you don't say anything about griffin, it might spur people to actually look him up, and watch a video about The Creature From Jekyll Island.
