What is more important? The USA or the FBI? USA or CIA? The USA or Walmart? The USA or Exxon?
Most of us would get this question right choosing the obvious answer of USA.
Choosing the right answer between the USA or Washington DC is when many of us get confused. That is the importance of state rights and returning the focus of government to the local level. When we continue to look to Washington DC to magically open up its empty Federal box of goods to bail us out, we become no better than the old Roman Empire.
Aterfall, it was called the Roman Empire because the surrounding civilized world was ruled by those who lived in the city-state of Rome.
We are faced today with a choice of remaining the Republic of the United States or becoming the Washingtonian Empire.
The way to fight against such tyranny is to reject the "fix" of a counterfeit economy that the new Federal empire has manufactured against the best interests of the people. We do this by resolving to solve our problems not on the Federal level, but on the local level. We need to quit buying an empty box of goods forced on us by the act of Federal lobbying so that we can return to the inventiveness of small businesses on the local level where we live.
The human suffering under a false economy is worse than the suffering under no economy. We need to realize that we don't care about abstract things like responsibility, freedom, equality, having a job or owning property. These are just secondary in importance to the Civil-Purpose we inherited from our Founding-Fathers. That Civil-Purpose acknowledges that every human-being is born with a busy-ness to take care of. This business is a desire for comfort and contentment.
A mother doesn't take her child to the doctor because he or she appears unhealthy. No, although it may appear to be, that isn't her agenda at all. The mother, in her infinite wisdom, actually takes her child to the doctor because he or she does not appear happy. If health was truly the agenda of the state, then we wouldn't send healthy, strong, and young to fight our battles. No, to the contrary, we would send our sick, weak and old to do so. So, being unhappy is the reason we should go to war. We don't die for God, for flag, or for someone else's bullshit liberty. No! We die for the basic right to come home and enjoy eating an American cheeseburger!
At long last we need to narrow down to fight through our political disillusionment in matters of how we draw the political lines. It isn't the rich who victimize the poor. Wrong! The wealthy without power get victimized more than any other. By the greatest of margins, the vast majority of us have a reason to check Federal tyranny. We do this by being Americans first and then Republicans and Democrats second.
