"only because she took on her own party"

He basically said that because she's not a partisan politician.

He was pretty tepid on naming anyone, actually. Maybe he doesn't see RP as electable (folksy, lackidasical speaking style and no "wow factor" for the MTV generation and their troglodyte reality TV progeny)? That letter he read mentioned Palin, too, so maybe he had "palin on the bran".

Beck was obsessed with Palin even before she became the VP nominee....I don't understand why anyone should be surprised what he said about Palin....he even said he voted for Palin.

Beck once said "I don't need the perfect politician"...and I don't need the perfect Glenn Beck

Glenn: Palin is a sexy candidate and I'm libertarian.
O Reilly: Who tf is Ron Paul? I'm an independent.

I remember at the beginning of this forum, Sarah Palin's name was thrown around a lot for Paul's VP pick.

We learned. Hopefully he will learn too. We've always been ahead of Beck about 6-8 months on the learning curve of current events and who's competent and who's not.

"only because she took on her own party"

He basically said that because she's not a partisan politician.

She wouldn't know what the word partisan even means...
IS he saying, she is so dumb, she did not know she was endorsing McCain and his policies?

I remember that too. Then everyone was surprised when she was picked for VP.

According to those close to the campaign, privately, Palin was at odds with McCain about everything. So she can't be all that bad. She stuck to her guns despite all of the neocons in her ear 24/7.

Some on this forum might argue with that.
