Cannot stand the use of the word "homeland"

Everytime I hear some clown use this "homeland" world, I think of Hitler and his "fatherland", or Nazis, or fascists, or FEMA.

I am sick and tired of this word that invaded our lexicon around the time of the Unpatriotic Act.

Is is America--NOT the homeland!!!

How about motherland? Its nice and comforting...just think of your mom! Don't worry about communist Russia using it.
I'd support abolishing the DHS and bringing ALL of our military home and post them all along both borders, ports, airports and other key areas. That's homeland security!
