Both George and Jeb recommend this site. and the people who run the site think that is a good thing.
What does that tell you?

This is the heart of the Santelli Tea Party promotion ring.

They are astroturf (fake grassroots) in my opinion.

Just look at this "demonstration"

From what I understand the current chair of the VT GOP was very heavily involved with this group. I was talking to someone about it yesterday and this person told me that said chair was a lot more libertarian sounding when he was with freedomworks. https://www.freedomworks.org/user-profiles/rob_roper?page=4 I wish I would have met him back then.

It really does look familiar, though. Just looking at this profile page (https://www.freedomworks.org/user-profiles/rob_roper?page=3) reminds me a little of organizing C4L here.

Interested to hear the deduction on this. Any info?

If you are talking about the overall design of the site, it's because it is designed by Terra Eclipse.. The same company that designed the Ron Paul and BJ Lawson web sites.

I think you mean that it's designed by Terra Eclipse. Whenever they make a website, someone always brings this up... why??? I don't get how it's so hard to figure out...

Terra Eclipse is an amazing freedom-loving web company that has made a lot of sites for us. Ooooooo scaaaary! CONSPIRACY! ... WTF?

What does that tell you?

It tells me that George and Jeb believe freedom works.

Why can't Terra Eclipse do CFL's site? It seems like such a no-brainer.

Maybe CFL doesn't see the value in it.... idk

They should do that, but it costs money and I'm guessing they were like "we can just do it ourselves"

np

the piece that started it was run by playboy, later pulled. here is that piece:

rawstory (not the greatest source, but i haven't found an error in their fact checking yet this go-round) covered the hubbub here:

http://rawstory.com/news/2008/Tea_Party_protests_sees_as_corporate_0301.html

Initial media source later expounding on the controversy:

For perspective, you might look up the Heritage Foundation's (really, that says it all right there) refutation of their claims.
