Well I guess this will be plastered on any project, the Stimulus "branding" is here.

We are so screwed. There is no way in hell those gears are going to mesh even if somebody *does* decide to put them together properly.

What a very fitting design, indeed.

That is a slightly modernized version of certain images that appeared in every single mural ever put on a WPA-built building during the New Deal workfare era.

Will this be the logo on the Jack-boot's uniforms?

And the message is clear: the State (Stars) and Obama's programs (recovery.org) loom above any agricultural or engineering projects.

It sure is a good thing our country didn't base its prosperity on relatively free farming or industry.

Good catch. (I was thinking the same thing!)

I just *WISH* they would have put a 3rd gear on there -- and have it trying to mesh with BOTH of the other ones.

THAT would have been even more fitting.

I wonder.... are those two "stars" coming in from the upper left supposed to represent the "meteors" that are [supposedly] coming down to destroy us all in 2012?
:D

Also I note the LACK of any "lightning bolts" (so I guess that means no electric cars, right? or solar power... or wind energy, or anything else like that) -- and (thankfully) no "egles" either.

Instead we're going to plant a bunch of "sprouts" and the grind them up in between mismatched gears... until the meteors descend!

Does the plant mean the Obama administration is going to be supporting victory gardens?

Here is my version :)

If this image does not work the link is here:

I only have Paint to work with so not great but more symbolic of the expected results. If someone could add yellow letters to say "socialism.gov" that would be fantastic!

That's just funny. That's just too funny. Making the city work together? If your car were stuck in park, would you say it worked? Well, what you see in that poster is exactly how the park function of your automatic transmissions works!

YUP. I wasn't being facetious -- I've seen LOTS of examples just like the above (almost always with "gummint" operation logos).

It's always a hoot and a half!

(And proof that, among other things, the logo designer did NOT play with LEGO when they were a kid... just saying.)

You are correct.
The factory worker and farmer.
Hammer and sickle.
Gears and plants.

Anyone can use the logo I created for any purpose without compensation, except for Josh_LA, who would have to pay $0.0001 per use. :D

Hammer and sickle.
Gears and plants.

I even used both industry names in my post above, but didn't think of the H&S.

Unfortunately, traditionally the H&S logo was the state. Now the H&S is under the State.
