Why do Americans need to show up every day on time to work hard? Why do most of us need two jobs? It is because we work harder. Now, think of who makes us show up every day on time to work harder and see how they think smarter? Such natural ability wins such executives as much as 3 months vacation time in a year and literally tens of millions of dollars in bonuses. Why? Because that is what it takes to make the system work and for investors to make money on their stock -- even though the system doesn't work and investors are losing trillions on their investment.
Don't work harder but think smarter!

If you are working for an employer, do your job, and do it well. Yes, work hard for that employer.
If you think you are smart enough to achieve what your employer has,
by all means, go do it, on your own time and dime. Not his.

But you have to be thinking smart to only work 9 months of the year while receiving tens of millions of dollars in bonuses. It isn't like these special guys and gals are getting paid tens of millions of dollars for doing hundreds of millions of dollars worth of work. The American work ethic is American culture and has nothing to do with American business. Seems to me that American business just takes advantage of the Amerian work ethic.

That must be the socialism talking. If the market was actually working, jobs were available, another company would pay more to that worker who would work a little harder, if it meant more profit than the guy who was taking 3 month vacations. Collusion has done a lot of damage to the consumer as well as the worker.

Think of it this way. [taxes not considered for this example]

There are 60 minutes in an hour, 24 hours in a day, and 356 days a year. That would be 60*24*365 = 525600 minutes/year

Let's say you make 60,000 a year in construction work. That means a 60k job makes about 1 dollar/ 8 minutes.

Now the management type person making 5,000,000 a year....that would be like $50 for the same 8 minutes.

So you can see that management makes a whole lot more money during their 8 minute restroom break. So why does his/her pee cost more?
