I actually believe that global warming is caused by humans. It's just I don't think it's as great as a problem as others seem to make it and I don't think the government should get involved, either.
But I posted this because its irony is hilarious, no matter what you believe.

Well the size of the polar ice caps is certainly notable. When we look to see why they are melting it is because the tempatures have been higher than their historical averages.
This indeed means temperatures are higher (since it is documented, we aren't going to argue over thermometers know are we?).
Would this be reason for someone to say their is global warming. Why yes. And what part of that is silly.
Now where it gets silly is when people start freaking out about how it is happening. Which we really don't know. Climate changes do happen on this planet. This could certainly not be a big deal.
Of course maybe it could but it is probably around number 1000 on the list of what can go wrong to destroy humanity.

I dont buy into the man-made global warming/climate change thing but at least you call it truthfully. Im tired of the "save the planet" nonsense. The planet has lived through much much worse periods than some SUVs and Chinese factories can create. It's people that would be in trouble, not the planet. I just wish people would be honest about it. For the record, Im in the camp that realizes that the planet goes through changes on its own. The question is can humanity adapt or will we disappear like so many species before us that didn't. All the carbon credits, Al Gore Nobel prizes, and Kyoto Protocols won't make a lick of difference in the end if we can't adapt to the constantly changing environment.
