I wonder how much money he had to spend this time to bus in, pay for lunch, and probably $20 bucks for the trouble in the pocket for all those who voted for him? He was spending millions of his own money on buying votes during the 2008 primaries.

The straw poll was only open to individuals who paid, or had someone else pay for them, to register for CPAC. Of the estimated 8,000 activists who attended CPAC, 1,757 conservative activists participated in this year's CPAC straw poll.

If that's true, then Jindal is the only thing standing in Paul's way, and Jindal is a joke :D

I felt very encouraged from the results, because Paul tore up Romney in every debate, and the rest of the pack at CPAC are not worthy opponents.

yes, romney wins the poll. jindal may have gotten a boost from his recent national exposure, and yes, mccain people may drift sarah palin's way, even though she seems to be into walter hickel's alaska secessionist views! this sorta does position dr. ron paul much better were he to run again in 2012...
