I remember when he was running he used the same language about running independent. "Im not planning too" and quotes such as that. He in the end stuck to it and did not run.

Now each and every time asked if he will run for 2012 i hear the same type of response. This makes me think he is not going to run. My hope though is this time he endorses someone right away so we do not all go different directions.

I think he's best off is he says that he probably won't run. He is getting so much free air time right now and I think it would instantly disappear if he hinted at a 2012 race.

Everyone around him will be looking for that extra job security, and you just know another run would wake up a million more. That's priceless.

He also says its too early, and that things could be much different in 2012. I take it as he hasn't ruled anything out, is hoping someone will be running he can endorse, but again, hasn't ruled it out himself.

Yep--all this publicity helps the cause. Thank you, Dr. Paul!

I would not keep asking Ron Paul to run till he win's, But I think with all the people we have woken up there is a REAL chance of actually winning the presidency in 2012 in he runs.

Just one more shot at it is all we are asking. One last shot at a peaceful revolution.

I think he should either sh*t or get off the pot. Announce NOW and let us get to work or get behind someone else. We need time and resources to undo the damage McCain's campaign wreaked on the Repubs in '08. This eleventh hour crap isn't working.

Historically speaking Paul said he probably wouldn't run in 2007 and 2008.

Kent Snyder and others persuaded and drafted him to run.

I would be optimistic that Ron Paul could be persuaded again.

LOL we are only six weeks into the 2008 Presidency.

Like if he keeps rising in the polls, the grassroots keep demanding, and he sees himself as the only real chance to have a peaceful revolution within the next decade?

I think he might feel a little obligated, the man is a patriot.

So should we wait until Spring of 2011 then? We have a lot of work to do.

You make a very good point.. I hadn't thought of this before.

He probably won't run as a Republican, but he might run for the Liberty Coalition Party.

i have a feeling that Ron Paul thinks the Constitution will be suspended before 2012. Maybe I'm being paranoid.
